Berry, Apple and Oats Yoghurt
Berry, Apple and Oats Yoghurt
Berry, apple and oat yoghurt came to the rescue when I was starving hungry for breakfast. I felt like something fruity, but wanted something filling too. The oats and the chia seeds in this recipe make it a filling and satisfying meal.
This breakfast was quick to prepare and filled me up fast. What’s more, it’s full of healthy goodness and makes a great start to the day and works just as well as a tasty snack or dessert. It’s also easy to eat on the go if you’re on a long road trip. I’ve prepared this before in a plastic container and it makes a delicious treat when you’re weary and blood sugar levels might be low.
Berry, Apple and Oats Yoghurt
For two portions
400g Greek yoghurt
2 handfuls fresh or frozen berries
1 apple, grated
1 handful oats
1 tbsp chia seeds
Pinch chilli flakes (optional)
How to Berry, Apple and Oats Yoghurt
Blend the berries into the yoghurt. Grate the apple. I left the skin on my apple, but peel beforehand if you prefer. Make sure to core it first of all! Combine all the ingredients and top with a few left-over berries.
It’s as simple as that!
